Loco List Data

SpotLog LocoLists

These lists are primarily intended for use with Spotlog - the Android rolling stock database.

The information in this database is completly unofficial. The data contents is provided and compiled by users of the SpotLog app and these webpages.
Information is gathered from various sources including railway magazines, and various websites, including abrail.co.uk
Rolling stock data is held in a database and can be downloaded to the SpotLog android application as datasets. It can also be accessed as XML data files and as RSS feed updates.
There are no guarantees for accuracy of the data: I do my best to udpate the data as I become aware of changes.
- Priorities are UK and Swiss data. Other datasets gets updated less often.
If you are able to supply information updates, or corrections, I would be happy to hear from you: locolists@rail3d.net . I would also be delighted to hear from anyone able to supply or collaborate on new datasets.

UK

UK: UK Mainline

Rolling stock running on the UK mainline network from the year 2000 onwards.

Currently some preserved diesels, not registered for the mainline. Does not include mainline registered steam loco's. Does not include preserved multiple units.

UKP: UK Preserved

UK Preserved steam engines. Includes some UK loco's preserved overseas, modern build replicas and some foreign loco's now running on UK preserved lines.

Does not include preserved moden traction (diesels, electrics and multiple units)

Does not include narrow gauge loco's such as Welshpool and LLanfair or Vale of Rheidol (even were these loco's were part of big four pre-BR companies).
